It's about a 15 minute drive to the center of Alamosa, south of town, roughly equidistant between Alamosa, Monte Vista, and the small town of La Jara. The school district is the Alamosa School District.

The property is very secluded and peaceful -- great for tranquil living.  The county roads come to within 3/4 of a mile of the home. Farms and ranches surround it. About half of the 43 acres is in mature trees, with the remainder in fenced pasture.

It's about 90 minutes to Taos, two and a half hours to Santa Fe and roughly another hour more to Albuquerque. Denver can be reached in about four hours by car.  There are several scheduled flights each day from Alamosa to Denver.
